What kind of Spice are you?

You Are Cilantro
The bad news is that there are some people who can't stand you.
The good news is that most people love you more than anything else in the world.
You are distinct, unusual, fresh, and very controversial. And you wouldn't have it any other way.

I saw this posted somewhere and had take the test. I really wanted to be ginger. I have no idea what a Cilantro is. Anyone know?!

The 'Introverted' Writer, Career Planning and The Tudors

Greetings and salutations!

Lynda Hilburn made a very interesting post over on her blog. The theme: The Introverted Writer. From the points she made I've determined I'm an introvert. *grins* Well, this is something I've always know, but many people refuse to believe I'm shy! I'm terrible at networking - in real life and online.

Shock horror!

After all, a writer's life is partly promotion. How can you be successful if you cannot promote efficiently? Fortunately help is at hand. There are numerous workshops, articles and other authors to share the woes with. One of my career goals is to achieve better promotion for myself by the end of the year.

Which brings me to the second issue in today's blog post. Career planning. *takes another huge deep breath* Something else I've been extremely slack with. Yep, I'm a lazy planning when it comes to my writing. Very strange. In other areas I am meticulously organized. The lovely Jaci Burton has been giving a workshop over on the Romance Divas forum all this week, and some sound advice she has given.

Sooo, Scarlett's career goals for the year:

1) Finish full length urban romance Shadows by the end of the year.
2) Start planning next full length novel.
3) Start querying agents.

Check back in December to see if the career goals have stayed on track!

And finally to The Tudors. Not the tv show (although that held me enthralled for an entire two weeks over the Christmas period). There are a lot of period movies/books being released on the Tudor period of history. This is something that has always fascinated me.

We've had The Tudors tv show, Elizabeth the Golden Age, and upcoming is The Other Boleyn girl. It's wonderful to see such a vibrate age brought to life on screen.

Devil's Dance Release Day!

*blows cobwebs off my blog* Whew, it's been months since I posted here. Fortunately I've been working on edits for Devil's Dance, and what do you know, release date it FINALLY here! I was so excited to find out that not only is it out in ebook, but also in print! To say I'm estatic is an understatement *grins*

Just for you all, here are the blurb and purchase link:
How far would you go to fulfill every sexual desire?
As a sex therapist, Tessa Connelly is no naïve wallflower when it comes to sins of the flesh. Listening to her patients deepest, darkest desires, she knows there is something missing from her own mundane sex life. That something is a dominant, alpha male. Tessa’s most secret desire is to lose some of her tightly held control and be dominated by a handsome hunk.
Her devilishly handsome hunk appears in the form of Luc Campbell. After a chance meeting he offers her a deal - one month of sexual mastery. In return all she has to do is be his willing partner in anything he has to give her.
But accepting the offer from a green eyed devil is just the first step of her journey…
